I am getting this message during rendering. Does anybody know what is going on when this happens?

AN ERROR OCURRED DURING THE CURRENT OPERATION.
AN EXCEPTION HAS OCURRED.

Exception 0x0000005 (access violation) WRITE:0x0 IP:0x1F1C01
Thread: GUI ID=0x5FC Stack=0x8D000-0x130000

:undecided

it seems to be your memory problem i had that problem before and i changed the memory and it is fine after that.....

run a test on your memory

I'll check to see if it is over heating. Thanks Spot. I appreciate and use VASST trianing materials.

Well I used Hot CPU pro to test my processor and there is no heat problem yet after 2 1/2 hours of testing.

However, I checked other forums for access violation errors during rendering in Vegas and it some folks are saying this is a bug associated with Vegas 6c. They went as far as recommending going back to 6b until there is an update.

Oh well, sure hope an update comes out soon.

It sounds to me that Vegas 6 was installed unproperly. did you try re-installing Vegas 6. if you didnt its better not or it might delete all your progress. was it always like this?

It has not always done this. I believe it started after I inserted some tracks of WAV audio that I rendered in Screenblast ACID 2.0 on another computer. Strange enough, just recenlty while rendering another WAV on that computer in SB ACID 2.0 it gave me the same error message. Oh well, hopefully I will be getting ACID PRO 5 soon and maybe that will clear things up.

Well LuckyAssistant, I uninstalled then reinstalled Vegas and it's rendering without Error. Thanks! Although if I cancel the render, the Error re-occurs.
Nevertheless BIG THANKS!

Bart
