i could blame magic bullet, or my computer...but premiere sucks the $%$%( $%($*#$# $#*#*ass! I've had it with this software but can't go to a mac until i can sell some colombian blow or something....

anyways, i can't get around the "ERROR COMPILING MOVIE" message when trying to export a 2 minute segment with the magic bullet shite on it...

how do i fix this?? and most of all, why is adobe such a sh*t product?

You sound like you might be kinda upset. :grin:

You don't say which Magic Bullet product you're using or what version of Premiere. But I can tell you that going to a Mac will not solve your problems. Magic Bullet does not support Colorista in Premiere CS4 and tech support describes performance with Looks in Premiere CS4 on a Mac as "finicky". There are some slightly more descriptive posts here:

Macs solve every problem:Drogar-Shock(DBG):

Well, I just installed FCS3 and the CS4 Master Collection on a clean install of Snow Leopard so will see how it goes. Will be using both Premiere and Final Cut to try and take advantage of the strengths of each.

Now that Adobe claims Premiere will import Final Cut projects things should be interesting...I'm hoping that's not as in the old Confucian curse, "May you live in interesting times." :)

The bummer is I have one of the first dual-core Mac Pros and it has 16GB RAM, but it's only 32bit capable.

don't know why i didn't think of this before, but one solution is to print/export to tape and then recapture the file. At least now i can export and compress it for the web. other than that magic bullet is pretty weak and i won't be using it much again.
