I'm going to be selling my DVX100 to a studio I was working out of for about a year. They own a DVX100A and have expressed interest in buying my 100 as I've just puchased the Sony HDV and won't be using it anymore. The camera has about 200 hours on it, much of which they put on it, one 2 hour and one 5 hour batteries, a .6 lens which they probably won't buy (I think I can sell it on ebay or perhaps here), and a four year warrenty that has about 2.5 years left. I'm taking all the other excessories with me.

How much should I be charging for this camera? What if I'm off with usage hours and it's more like 300 rather than 200? What if I'm over guessing and it's more like 100 hours? Does this make a huge difference in final selling price/value?

Thanks,
eric

Last year I bought a DVX100 for $2,000 and it had 202 hrs on it. It came with the box and all standard accessories. That should give you an idea. But, keep in mind, that was 9 months ago.

Good luck!

I sold my DVX100 at the beginning of this year. It had 160 hrs. 3 batteries, a Portabrace case and several filters. $2250.
