I just wanted to post that the Epson R200 inkjet printer is wonderful for printing 'imprintable' CDs and DVDs. Crisp, clear colors, and I haven't had a bad print yet. The R300 version is the one with the little LCD monitor and slots for various digital camera memory cards; these are features I just don't need, so I went for the cheaper R200 version.
It takes about 3.5 minutes to print a prelabeled DVD at full quality mode. Epson included a label layout program, which is what I am using to make my CD/DVD labels. Works fine.
I also like it that the Epson uses six small ink cartridges of different colors... no more need for throwing away a cartridge that is lacking only one color.
Here is a warning though to people who are buying 'imprintable' media: CompUSA is now starting to stock them, and I recently bought a pack of 100 Memorex DVDs, but unhappily discovered that they have a 'Memorex' logo inside the ring, but outside the print area, so your beautiful DVD label will have this jolting Memorex advertisement on it if you buy these blanks. You CAN'T see this because it is hidden due to how they package the product.
You are better off planning ahead and ordering Ricoh prelabeled DVDs online.
FYI!
