I have read the sticky on the different types of mic and when to use them. However, how do I get a digital recording from my mic. Is it a good idea to plug my mic directly into my camera? Or is there a better way? I would like to record several lav mics for an outdoor interview.:dankk2:

Have I overlooked one of the 'sticky' posts?
 
I was thinking about going for a 'Tascom DR100' or 'Zoom H4n' in conjunction with an 'ntg-2' microphone and a boom pole.
