"Enhanced for 16X9 TV's" & letterboxed on 4x3 TV's

Hello all -
I have a 16:9 trailer, which now I'm trying to get burned on to DVDs using iDVD (I know, I know, but its all I have) ...So far, I haven't been able to burn a DVD that looks right on both a widescreen TV AND a regular TV. How can burn I a DVD that will be "Enhanced for 16X9 TV's" but appear letterboxed on 4x3 TV's?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I don't know iDVD so not sure how you'll pull it off there. But if you can get yourself over to a DVDSP setup anywhere, its very simple. For DVDSP just encode a 16x9 .m2v file using Compressor, then author a 16x9 disc in DVDSP. When played on a 4x3 television it will letterbox automatically. I would have thought iDVD would have done the same, but maybe its just one of the caveats of it as a program? Good luck.

cheers.
