English voice over sites...

I'm tired of finding local slovenian people that can read like an english man:) So I figured that there must be online services for this. For projects that are not complicated I don't see a problem for not being together in the studio.

Can somebody please give me some good sites or contacts for voice overs? I need sites that range from low budget to normal budget. Keep in mind please that your low budget is our medium/high budget!:)

The first site that I found is voices.com. Is it any good?
Oh, and I'm mostly looking for generic English/American accents. If there is such a thing... Also wouldn't hurt to have a selection of British, USA, Irish, etc. accents if needed by the project.

Thx

Oh, and what do you consider low budget or high budget? Talking about corporate videos at the moment, for instance...
And, is it normal for the voice over speaker to deliver an edited recording? Is it normal to expect that the recording is equalized, compressed, etc. etc. Any kind of post work... In what kind of form are this recordings usually delivered?

try looking at the site language-english.com

I'm sorry but what is this?

typically you'll have a voice over artist and then a separate editor. Most VO artists that I know are not good editors (noticeable pops and bad edits). I don't know the going rate in the US for voice talent, but the absolute minimum I would pay for an editor is $30/hr...but I don't set the rates for other people, only myself. To be fair, I'm saying that for myself. I'll never take any sound editorial gig for less than $30/hr, and that's a "friend" price. Usually I'm going for double that, but you asked for "low budget" and in our world, and that's low budget. Any lower than that and you'll be saying "if you think professionals is expensive, try hiring an amateur".

Yeah, thats what I presumed. So its better to ask for an unedited recording and its smart to ask about quality beforehand (recording quality, pops, noise, etc...).

Got lots of editors around but thanks anyway for the info:)
