If anyone is interested in getting an RE50 or RE50 N/D for a hand held interview mic, I have made a little demo video. When I was searching on line I couldn't find any demos, though you can see them on the news. I don't see them on MY news because I live in the sticks. So I just made a very casual demo that also compared the mic to a Peavey PVM 38i (SM58 clone) and a Sure SM57.
At first I found it too bright for my taste, but I think in context it will be just fine. I'm used to the hyped bass from proximity effect on vocal mics you have to eat when performing on stage.
