ENG Crossover Lens - How to Control It

Many people use the ENG style lenses from Canon and Fujitsu on their medium size sensors using the 2x extender. The 2x extender is noticeable as a bump on the back of the lens. One of the options for some of these lenses is the crossover adapter. This lens has a second bump on the back of the lens to hold a .8x lens adapter. The 2x extender is manually flipped into place by a lever. But the .8x crossover adapter is controlled via a connector from the lens.

Does anyone know how to control this? Pin definitions, connectors to order, voltages, etc.

I've never seen a crossover unit on a Canon or Fujinon(not Fujitsu) ENG lens that was controlled electronically. They are controlled by manual levers just like the 2x. I believe on some you had to push in a button on the extender/crossover housing and then engage the lever for the .8x.

If this is mechanical, I can't figure it out. I've put the crossover lever in both positions. It doesn't make any difference. Since it says 'Standard' and 'Switchable', I was assuming that when the switch is in the 'switcable' position, the camera could control the .8x converter.

If I remember correctly, on my Fujinon lens, you just set it to the .8x setting, and then flip the lever normally for the 2x adapter off and then on again. Might be different for Canon, though.
