Encyclcopedia of Visual Effect

i thought it would never arrive - great news. looking forward to finally getting some firm direction with all the techniques....

Blaine, are the sections covering 3D CG integration, blue/green screen detailed well? I'm looking at it on amazon, reading over what it covers, and those are the elements I'm most interested in.

This URL will give you a PDF of the TOC of this book.

For simple blue/green screen work, I'd strongly recommend the ATPS Shake book and the ATPS Advanced Color Correction and Effects in Final Cut Pro 5 first, then go to the Encyclopedia. I find my students get more of a solid education going that route.

Ben's correct. I've gone through both of those (ATPS Shake and ATPS Advanced Color Correction and Effects) before getting this one. It does have a chapter on keying fundementals.
