Encore or Architect

What program do you guys prefer to make DVD's with? I've been using DVD architect til now, but I wonder if I'd get a better quality result from encore, or maybe straight outta PPRO?

Quality is determined by your encoding settings. While the algorithms used may make a difference, it shouldn't be a large one. I use Encore for it's integration with the Adobe suite, as well as the workflow.

I've used both and prefer Encore. I also like the integration and workflow better. I think the final results are also superior but I might be fooling myself as they both use Main Concept for encoding.

Staying within "the family" so to speak has its advantages. Working between Premiere/AE/Audition and Encore just makes sense to me. Their highly similar user interfaces is more than enough reason to consider it as a path. That said, I don't typically use Encore for MPEG encoding as I prefer to do this in Premiere where I have access to a wider array of tools.

Adobe offers a "tryout" version of Encore. I would recommend giving it a spin to see first hand how it integrates with your workflow.
