Encore DVD buttons overlapping

I have been given a project by an housing developer to create him a DVD menu for the houses he is selling.
He has provided me with pictures and an overview of the plot, the plot overview has about 10 houses and some are the same.
I have to link each different type of house to a short bit of information on them, the problem i am having is that he wants each house that is the same to be accesabile from one button but for them all to highlight making the bounding box huge and crossing over with other boxes.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
Maybe being able to link a button to a picture that can highlight when the button does.

We were trying to do something similar a while back, and I was told that it wasn't possible (or nobody I talked to knew how to do so) within Encore. DVDStudioPro, on the other hand, does support that sort of functionality.

However, if you want to cheat, why not see if you can talk the guy into a button that loads a separate menu with all the similar-looking properties? Probably simpler and faster... :)

One thing I'll warn you about with Encore: The more menus and buttons you have, the less stable it is. We had a large project (DVD-9, about 40 separate video trailers, 30 or 40 menus, cross-referencing) that simply wouldn't reliably build in Encore. You could build it, but when you went to make the ISO, it did all sorts of unpredictable things. We ended up rebuilding the project in Studio Pro.
