Hi!

Why it is that sometimes when I try to do chapter points on my timeline to the footage, I am not able to do it exactly to the point I want? Encore don't let me to use whatever frame I want...it automatically selects some frame next to the frame that I would like to use...? This is strange? Why is this? :embarasse But sometimes it works, sometimes don't.

Because chapter point must be exactly on I-frame. This is DVD specification's restriction.
MPEG-2 file is actually GOP-s (group of pictures) and very common GOP is IBBPBBPBBPBBP. As you see I-frame is every ~13-th frame.
Encore (and every other authoring program) knows that of course..
