Anyone ever get this message when building a DVD?

I'm so ****ing sick of Adobe's bullshit messages! If it's not one problem, it's another. I was having so many issues with Ecore 1.0 so I upgraded and bought 2.0. Now I'm having another error message. The same thing with After Effects I keep losing projects, saying ' an abnormal error has occured ' or 'abnormal ' this or that. Its just getting rediculous. I'm trying to make this dvd as a demo so I can get a job and I just can't get one DVD to work.

Does anyone know what the problem is? And by the way, I only get that message on the main menu when it tries to loop. The menu background video is 1:00:00 ( one minute ) and the loop point is 00:07:00 ( seven seconds ) with loop amount set to forever. I've changed it to other stuff to see, but I still get the message.

I'm almost ready to give up on video/film forever....

what type of machine are u running, its always better to have a good rig before u start with all the goodies. That's at least what i'm thinking.

I have a custom built PC

Pentium Prescott P4 3.0gHz
2.5 GB's of DDR SDRAM
nVidia Geforce FX5200 128MB vid card
Creative sound blaster audigy ( with live drive )
380 gig's of Hard Drive space

ok, i can see why youre frustrated with it. I have been trying to use encore 1.5 today and it just doesnt like my pro 1.5 mpg2 encoding and its pcm audio. Im so fed up after a few hrs that i'm going back to dvdlab pro.
u'd figure 1.5 pro and 1.5 encore woudl be friendly. Plus i'm editing panny 24p footage. Anyway, yah i gave up on it.
your pc is more than enough to support it...i went to adobe.com and they have a encore forum, so many ppl having dumb issues with it. go take a look http://www.adobe.com

yeah I checked it out....

Those forums do help out alot.

hmm somehow the problem was unknown. But, after i started a new project and rebuild it/ relinked all the menus it's working fine. Maybe the project got all gunked up with files or something and had some problem with it.
