I am having trouble trying to compress a video i edited in Final Cut Pro HD. I entered the Tribeca Film Festival/Amazon.com contest and need to upload the finished video to Amazon.com's website. I have no idea how to do any encoding. All i know that it needs to be in Flash Video(FLV) format. I also know that i need to compress this via Sorenson Squeeze. But i am having problems using Sorensen Squeeze. What are the best settings in Final Cut Pro Hd to export this. Should it be MPEG 2,4, 1? Can anyone help me. I am down to a crunch and need this up by tonight. Here are the requirements:
In order to submit your film, it must meet the following technical requirements:
Total running time, including credits, should be no longer than seven minutes.
Film must be encoded in the FLV (Flash video) format at a 384 kbps bit rate with dimensions of no larger than 320x240.
The maximum file size that will be accepted for upload is 21 MB.
You can encode your film yourself by using a free trial version of Sorenson Squeeze or you can have a company like Metro Encoding encode the film for you
