encoding for web both PC & MAC

[Carrington Benz]

Hi,

I have a mac & generally encode with QT or Compressor in mp4 format.what is the best method for both pc & mac ?
I have had pc folks not able to view my mp4's so - whats the best format & method to get to pc folks as well ?

wmv - is this the preferred format ? If so how do I go about encoding to it ?

Re: encoding for web both PC & MAC

use a quicktime . mov encoding, or you can get a windows media encoder to make windows media 9 series .wmv files.
i would suggest staying away from mp4, bucause not everyone has the proper codecs to play it back ..
