Hi Everyone
Last night we did an outdoor movie screening of my first film - but I was really bummed out to see how dark the image was on the screen. I realize that we had some ambient light - but you could hardly see people's faces in their interviews - it was really disheartening. I also know that lumens of the projector really plays into it - so I am looking for some general advice. We are showing again next weekend at a festival and I am really freaked out about image quality. In your experience when dealing with an image to projected- do you change up the gamma or other settings to make the images brighter to compensate for the brightness loss from the projector? Any advice you have would be appreciated - I have never dealt with projectors so any advice is really appreciated. Thanks everyone. Chris (BTW - the festival will be showing on either blu ray or DVD - I am giving them both, last night we did a quicktime file straight from my macbook)
