EMW Lavaliers: Need advice on wireless G2 system.

b you can use 1 transmitter only with the reciever
c if you look for emw , ask for sheleved version

the g-2 100 cant power the emw with phantom power suply

I just bought two b6s for use with the G2 and they work just fine. What is the difference between the B6 and the EMW? They both are available wired for the G2 from Countryman Assoc.
Buy the EMWs direct from countryman as most places seem to drop ship them anyhow if you are getting a special wiring/plug.
 
Wired with XLR requires phantom power which the G2 can't provided. However the EMW can be wired specifically for the G2. Call Northern Sound & Light for both the G2 and EMW for a nice price.

i second that
but you have to check if they can wire the phantom version so it would work both ways
the difference - sonically i prefer the emw , for easy to hide the b-6
excellent for hair micing . you can add different color caps to pull the mic out on different color cloth , or just white cap and paint it each time different color .
also the b-6 is completely weatherpruf , the down side -doesn't work well in windy condition - let say it sucks big time .
