Emulating 150/250 shutter speed in post

While it's pretty easy to emulate a slow shutter speed in post (e.g. add motion blur & super sampling), how do you create a FAST shutter speed??

Ideally, I'd like to shoot everything as clean as possible, so if I don't like a look I still have the original normal footage to rever to (shooting in 24P/PA at 48th shutter speed).

I know how to make it look like it was shot in slow shutter speed, but no idea how to give it that FAST shutter speed look. Ideas?

short answer. . . you can't. Ther is no way to "de-blur" your footage. YOu could chop it up, removing frames, but this won't give you the same look, just a different look. The only way to simulate fast shutter speeds is to shoot with a fast shutter speed.

Yep, I was leaning towards "it can't be done", as there was just no logical way I could think of, but still got to ask to make sure I'm not missing something.

Thanks for the reply, scharky.
