Have you tried using something like this for video? It would probably give some flicker pretty hard to get rid of while shooting on D90 but maybe it's doable...
Would this amount of light help in low light/night situations? I'd use it for a music video, maybe put 2 of these on two sides of a camera to get some even soft light on a subject in front of the camera?
