Embarassing Pop Culture Confessions

Believe it or not, Hanson's CD's are very good. I have the first two and they write, produce, and play all their own music. they are not a "boy band" by definition.

talent: yes.
teen bubblegum pop: yes.
some very deep songs about suicide, loss: yes.

The two concerts I would pay anything to see would be Michael Jackson (greatest performer in history) and Madonna (Michael Jackson female counterpart).

Wow, I just keep digging my own ditch here.

I saw the Victory tour when I was 14

My Aunt Pam took me. I thought it was gay but in hindsight, it's pretty damn cool. We were like Center, Row 25 or so.........................

Jacksonville I think.

Awesome.

Great show. Same year I saw; Ratt, Billy Squire, Guiffria. Foriegner, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Belouise Some....

I also started Smoking.

Pop and embarrassing

Yankee...ditto. Would pay a gazillion $$$ to see Michael in concert.

And in what might be my last post *sigh*

I totally dig the Annie! movie and soundtrack with Albert Finney and Carol Burnett.

(Walking into sunset with tail tucked) "Sorry J.L., sorry Barry's, Hudson, sorry scarecrow, sorry..."

LOL

You're in good hands; I'm a sucker for musicals (Fame, Annie, Grease, SNF...)

LOL!

I stopped watching that cuase I got tired of crying every week.

Of course my wife runs in now and say 'He's dying of cancer and he has 6 kids and the wife is dead....'

WTF

I, unfortunately, get drawn into the vapid crap that my girlfriends watches when I'm home...America's Next Top Model, Simple Life 2...oh the horrors!

I own the Last Unicorn Movie *sniff * sniff

ME TOO!!!! I love that movie!

Musically, though I am too proud to say they truly embarass me, I still love Vai's Passion and Warfare and I still really like Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet.

All the Conan the Barbarian movies make me remember some of the happiest days of my life. heh! (long and twisted tale that one) :)

I miss BBS's. And my old commodore 64 games, like Zack McCracken.

I still play video games and plan to keep doing it as they keep getting better.
I have to play unrealtournament2004 every chance I get.
I still wear Jordan sneakers but with Banana Republic jeans and shirts.
I crank my Ipod when im on the train to annoy people. Especially when they squeeze thier fat asses in a seat they have no business trying to fit into like this morning. This lady sat right the fcuk on my lap practically to try to fit in. I was like WTF, you see you cant fit so why try? I thought she broke my Ipod because it was in the jacket pocket she sat on.

I crank rap music from my car. Any music for that matter.
I got choked up watching thriller the other night at the John Landis thing because Michael looked so happy, care free and still had his original face.

I held Jack Daniel Stanleys Fig Rig in my hands.

I watch the Real world and the gauntlet. Shame on me.

Yes reprisent ! I think Timmy is going to beat derrick and Alton if the F-ing man.

I've seen every episode of Beverly Hill 90210 and remember all the cast real names in order of the intro

I cried so much at King Kong that we had to stay all the way through the credits. All of them. And it's a very long list of credits. And then I cried again just from seeing the clip of Kong falling off the Empire State Building during the Academy Awards...

I love blasting the original Broadwat Cast Recordings of Guys & Dolls (the original) and Hair (the original) and acting out the different voices...

I have an hour-and-a-half set of Skynard on my iPod...

I have an old Nickelodeon plastic toy microphone, shaped like an ice cream cone, and I still like to grab it to sing along with my albums... err, I mean CDs... err, I mean iTunes.

Oh, geez, maybe I shouldn't post this...

You just officially became the coolest chick in history.

For me, I've seen people say here they watch ST TNG on reruns. I OWN every season on DVD.

Also, I have not 1, not 2, but 3 copies of Labyrinth, (all left by previous girls I'd dated.)

Oh yeah, and Rush. World's worst band. I break out the Tom Sawyer and rock-it.

Probably should have kept that one a secret! LOL

Don't you judge me ! :) I went to home school and didn't have cable so I watched what came on and that was on along with Matlock , Sunset Beach and the Price is Right

That reminds me... I too have seen every single 90210 episode, can name all the original characters (Donna, Dylan, Brandon, Brenda, Nat, David, Kelly, Steve, Mr. & Mrs. Walsh) plus most of the stupid add on characters... The sad thing is, whenever I see they are running reruns or a marathon, yeah, I watch it (or DVR it).

This thread is awesome!

Neither of us will be able to post a serious thread or comment again... All credibility is completely gone (I lost mine almost a year ago when I moved from lurker to poster... Oh the days when I still had a life, how do I miss thee?)

Another one:

I'm obsessed with the Harry Potter books. They are written for kids a third of my age and I think they are brilliant and get the new books the night they are released at midnight...

Another one:

Whenever I am at the book store and I see a book by a writer I like on the clearance rack (example: Clive Barker's Coldheart Canyon for $4.95) I buy all the copies I can because I feel bad for the books. I have 13 copies of Coldheart Canyon and I wasn't even really a fan of the book, I just like Clive Barker's writing.
