Hey strangers - so I've been away from DVXuser for quite a while (and most of you probably have no idea who I am now).
I've been working at El Rey Network for the past couple of years, and we're currently casting for a new series that I thought might be perfect for some of you.

This is the 25 year anniversary of 'El Mariachi' - so the show will take 5 filmmakers and see if they can make their first feature with the same sort of constraints Robert Rodriguez had when he made El Mariachi.

I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have - feel free to post them in the thread.
If you're interested, I suggest you apply sooner rather than later, as casting is already going on.

EDITED TO ADD:
Man, I have to say.... hitting that "post" button made me a little nostalgic.
Feels like coming home.

Is there a PDF version of the image above that I can post for our students? Going to print the image now, but a nicer looking poster and maybe a QR code for the weblink would be nicer on our bulletin boards.

[Edit] Here is a QR you can use (attached)

I don't think we have a PDF version - let me ask and see if there is anything that would be more print friendly.

Thank you so much for this brother!

I tried! Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best

Put in a good word for Antonio Pantoja haha ❤️❤️
