Effects In Premiere Pro??

Shogun!

- Anyone know how to achieve that "shaky" or "Twitching" Camera effect in Premiere Pro CS4?

- How about a film burn? Or just that old film look?

- How can I create a mirror effect on a subject as it's playing?

- Finally, how exactly does cropping work? I want to be able to see two clips in my video at once.

Thanks.

A couple of suggestions.

Do a search for plugins for PP. There are many out there that will give you that
"twitch/shakey" look you're asking for.

You can also use a plugin call "Twitch" from Video Copilot that works in After
Effects. Works great and is relatively easy to use. www.videocopilot.net

Film burn/film look: Also plugins from various companies. Red Giant Software,
NewBlue FX ect.

Mirror on your subject: After Effects

Cropping: Go into the Effects Controls, click on Motion/Scale. Use the scale
numbers for the desired size. Repeat for the next clip. Position both clips on top
of each other so when your CTI (current time indicator) is over the clips both will show sized to your
specification.

Finally, if you want to learn Premiere Pro, After Effects or a ton of other multimedia
programs I highly recommend you check out www.lynda.com
There is a wealth of video tutorials from great instructors. You can learn at your
own pace.

Good luck.
