effect transition question...

Just a simple question, but I couldn't find the answer through my search of these forums...

How can I speed up the transitions? Example, I put a dissolve between two clips in the timeline, then if I double click that dissolve to open the options-type screen in the viewer window ....if has in/end points for the dissolve etc... but how can I speed it up? to make it almost as fast as a regular cut?

You can type in the duration of a transition in the viewer window after opening it up in there.

Usually the default is 01;00

Change away.

Just grab the end (or beginning) of the transition in the timeline and pull it (or stretch it) to your likings...
