EF or FD lenses for Letus + Canon XHA1 ?

I am about ready to plunk down the cash and get a Letus Extreme adapter, not an easy decision in this lousy economic meltdown. Should I order the Letus with a mount for Canon FD lenses or for Canon EF lenses, and why FD or EF? I would have to buy some used lenses (218mm, 55mm, 85mm) as my slow zoom telephoto lenses I currently own for my digital Canon 10D and Canon 40D SLR cameras would not be suitable for the Letus.

FD lenses are going to be cheaper and easier to use on an adapter, but won't work on your DSLRs.

EF lenses can be used on your DSLRs, but generally cost quite a bit more, and then you have no easy way to control the aperture when mounted on an adapter.

Optically, they are largely equivalent, except in the couple of cases where a lens is only available as FD or EF.

I am going for FD lenses then. I like easy. Easier works for me, always!
