Eek! Where is the Screen Key in CS3?

Hi there guys,

Sorry to ask a somewhat noobish question but in Premiere 2.o I often used the screen key for a number of black background effects shots i wanted to blend in with footage (for which the 'screen key' worked perfectly.'

I now have the CS3 Creative Suite (lovely) but then to my shock - alas! I see there is no dedicated Screen Key option!

So my friends has it been renamed? moved to after effects (i couldn't find it there?!) Pweeaase help

I don't think it's a key, I believe you just have to change the blending mode of the clip. should be on the effects palette, if not you may need to use AE -- I think it was removed from premiere in cs3.

lol figured it out now hurrah -

Yep your you to the Calculations option in the Effects tab (within blending) and there in the type you can pick (from add, screen etc)

So they basically took the option from premiere cs2 and combined it into a more complex (but powerful) blending tool - hurrah.
