Eeeha! Got my SGpro!

That's right fellas, I have just received my sgpro. The first thing I did was to try my 28mm on it and my jaws dropped when I looked at the Xh-A1's lcd and saw a beautiful looking bokeh and no signs of vignette . It's night here so I might just do some low light tests with it...but tomorrow it's going to be one happy day for me. Sadly I won't be able to post footage so soon, since I'm waiting for my new pc (a kick ass quad sys should be in next week) and in one day I'll be taking a trip to Rome. But as soon as I can I'll post something. Oh, and guess who I bought this babe from?...I'll give you a clue. He's also from Spain and his name starts with an M. That's right, I've bought it from the man him self, Macgregor...I hope it has some of that magic of his on it. This must be what it feels like being knighted ;-)

Wow Rome I'm jealous :)...Congrats on an awesome adapter looking forward to seeing some great work from ya.

damn you rawfa! mine's on order... 4 weeks to go :(
so i guess mac is going to be solely using the g35 from now on.

Thanks, guys. I shot some very quick low light tests yesterday and I gotta say there's a noticeable difference between using the brevis and the sgpro in this area. Other than that the sgpro is not as heavy as one might imagine for hand held work, it's sharp from edge to edge, it's got an awesome bokeh and the cinematic texture I was expecting (stating the obvious here).
Oh, the magnet trick doesn't work with the A1.

Hey Rawfa!

That are a wonderfull news, that you decided to get SGpro.. McGregor?? How more lucky can you be?? :Drogar-Happy(DBG):

Good shooting, and after so many happy users of SGpro, it certainly looks that "all roads leads to Rome"..
