EDL opener?

does EDL from Edius 3 Pro con open and process in Edius 4 Pro...?without FCP?

Edius 4 can open projects (and EDLs) from Edius 3. Projects saved in Edius 4 cannot be opened in Edius 3. FCP doesn't factor into this at all.

This is not entirely correct. You can open edls made in 4.xx in edius 3 There are standards for edl and they don't change with edius version. You can't open edius 4 projects in edius 3.xx. You can open edius 3.xx projects in edius 4 without the need for edl. Projects and edls are two different things.

Please re-read what I wrote -- I did not say that EDLs aren't portable between versions.
