edius equivalent of twixtor

Hi,

I'm thinking about converting from Vegas to Edius for one reason: I need twixtor style smooth slow motion (i.e. creates frames in between the gaps..etc.)..

I have read conflicting reports that Edius can/cannot do this.

Can anyone confirm? preferrably with example before/after footage? :)

hey buddy ,

Ive been checking out Twixtor and loving the footage it puts out. Im wondering the same question now that i moved to Edius 6 i hope i can get something like this. Any info on it?

Does vegas support twixtor? I thought its only an after effects plug in?

For software created "slow motion" Edius has SPEED controls for your clip. 100 % is normal lower than that say, 50% is half the speed, you can type higher values like 2000% to speed up footage.

For more precise controls like matrix style ramping edius has TIMEREMAP feature for each clip.
