Edius Broadcast And XDCAM HD

I was told in a shop today that Edius Broadcast dos not support XDCAM HD only standard XDCAM is this true ????

As far as I know, the software-only version of Edius Broadcast does not currently support XDCAM HD, but Canopus does have a product that supports it:

hmmm...I would also be interested in that. Why not in the software version? Is it a mere license problem or a technical issue? If it can handle XDCam and it can handle P2/1080p it should also be able to hande XDCamHD, which might soon be one of the strongest standards out there.

If am not wrong it handles xdcam hd since the 4.1 udpate. Xdcam select was also updated at that time.

Correct. XDCAM HD was supported in EDIUS Broadcast from v4.1
