I wouldn't expect it to be anytime soon, seeing as they only barely released 5.5 a couple of months ago.

There's some speculation that Grass Valley will release it to coincide with IBC in September like they did with EDIUS 5. This is, of course, just a rumor so don't read too much into it.

ordered my hdspark card with V5 today!!! wooohooo , cant wait for 6 to come out. wont install the card until the v6 drivers come out. hopefully soon.

The trial has been out for a while now. Final retail product just started shipping. B&H shipped their orders today.

Thanks for that--I must have missed it on GV's website. I see (from B&H's website) that the upgrade should be available in 2-4 weeks. That's what I need, looking forward to it.

I think Videoguys might already have the upgrades in stock. You might want to give them a call.
