Edius 5 Breaks PACE/Ilok License

Just installed Edius5 and now my PACE anti-piracy license doesn't work on those apps that need it. Most noteably, it kiboshed ProTools. Anyone else have this problem.
 
Grass Valley has unofficially announced that their latest release of Edius(version 5) breaks Ilok/HASP dependent applications. There is a posted fix for the problem on the Edius forum. I continue to be absolutely dumbfounded by the lack of quality control by some software vendors. Canopus has made it to my list of irresponsible vendors of the month.
