Edius 5.5 or Neo 2?

I've recently started shooting on a GH1, and demo'ed Neo 2 on the advice of ATL Media. Fantastic program, and I was all ready to buy Neo 2, until I saw I can pick up Edius 5 (which I assume I can upgrade for free to 5.5) for only $30 more (Educational discount).

Is there any reason not to go with the full Edius 5? I shoot weddings, is the multicam feature any good? What about the "extensive third party software bundle for additional effects, titling and blue ray authoring"? Would this also work for standard dvd authoring?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Yes, 5.5 is better than Neo 2. The multicam is amazing, better audio tools including audio mixer, 3DPIP.. Now, you said "Educational"... You do know that educational software usually doesn't qualify for upgrades and you shouldn't be using it for profit. I don't know if it can be updated to 5.5.

The "extensive 3rd party..." is okay, it comes with TMPro which is good, but VisTitle is much better..
As for DVD.... i5.X comes with Corel DVD MovieFactory SE... From all reports it's not that great. Neo 2.5 and Edus 5.X can both export directly to DVD and Blu-Ray with basic menus without extra software.
I use Adobe Encore CS4 to author my DVD/Blu-Rays but I like advanced motion menus so....
