Editor for documentary

I dont know if this is the right place but I have been filming a documentary for the past 2 years and am looking for help in the editing process. Editing is not really my thing so I want someone to partner with to help get the story across I am trying to tell. If anyone is interested or has some helpful advice let me know,thanks.
 
First of all where are you at and what format is your footage in. Do you have the opening done or at what point are you at the moment? How long is the project and how big of a hard drive is it on.
 
Well the footage is mostly mini dv shot on the dvx also some of it shot on 16mm bolex. the subject matter is the stray dogs in greece. I live in los angeles. Most of the footage is logged and subclipped with some segments put together. I am not sure of the length yet,as most of you guys know if it was up to me it would be 20 hours long because I dont want to cut anything... seriously though probably around 1 hour. I have all my footage on a 1tb hard drive and am using final cut. Thats it... This is a project I took on a while back after going to greece the first time and seeing all the dogs, I have been back 5 times and am planning one more trip in sept. to finish it off... Again thanks for any help you guys have...
