Editing with premiere

I just purchased a DVX100a and i was wondering if i have to do anything special in premiere now that i am shooting in 24 and 30p, also combining 60i and 24p footage on the timeline will go together fine without any problems when exporting.

If you're using Premire Pro 2.0 everything should work fine. PP 1.5 has some issues with opening 24p footage in a 29.97 timeline, makes it difficult to mix footage. There are some work arounds. 2.0 is the way to go.

I have Premiere Pro, i see videos with mixed footage including 60i from a vx2000 and 24p from the dvx100a, and i use premiere pro, so would there be any problems exporting as a movie or to tape?

In PP2.0, not at all...you would edit in a 29.97 timeline. What version of Premiere Pro are you using? 1.0, 1.5, 2.0?
