Editing together 15+ clips

I am editing together a dancing scene from a music video that has 6 takes and was covered by 3 cameras. So in all there are 18 clips that are useable. I've never edited something of this nature before, any tips on doing it efficiently? Should I lay all clips down on the track and sync them and just start chopping it up? Thanks for the advice.

Lay all of the tracks down 1-18 timed to the song, then just follow the timeline and make your cuts and each scene will be on beat. Very very easy to do & how it should be done.

Uhh, this is what multi-clip was built for. Sync all the clips (you'll probably have to do this by setting a common in-point unless you have timecode synced), then do a multi-clip edit. You can fine-tune your cuts to the beat later, but this way is much faster.
