I shot a short with DVX100b in progressive 24p and in letterbox. In FCP my sequence preset was DV NTSC 48 KHz - 23.98 and my capture preset was at DV NTCS 48 KHz Advanced (2:3:3:2) Pulldown Removal when i captured the said video.
I've dumped it into a timeline, edited it and now I'm a bit lost as to how to ensure that I have something that will play 16x9 and at 24p. Mostly, I'm concerned with how to export this into a proper 16x9 file.
Do I need to go to Sequence/Settings and select Anamorphic 16x9? After doing that it's stretched, but is that okay until it's viewed on a proper 16x9 display?
I'm planning on burning this to DVD and screening it at a festival.
This is my first post here and as a relative novice, I would greatly appreciate any laymen speak as much as possible from anyone kind enough to give me a hand.
