Editing "Squeezed" footage in PPro 2.0

Footage is 24pa shot in "Squeezed" mode which I understand is the native 16 X 9 mode, but only called "squeeze" to avoid confusion with the matte widescreen mode.

My PPro project settings are 24p project in Widescreen. The footage in the project window looks superb. However, whenever I export the footage it always appears 4:3.

Can somebody set me back on the right track? :huh:

When you export your footage are you viewing it on a widescreen monitor? If you are not then the footage will look like everything is skinny.

Tell me a bit more about what you are viewing your exported footage on. And if you are exporting to tape or DVD.
 
Also, what format are you exporting to? For example, if you're exporting to mpeg2 with the Adobe Media Encoder, you need to specify a 16x9 preset or select the 16x9 setting.
