editing MFM-HT75WS+PVM14L1

I'll upgrade to HVX soon.
Is there a way to edit looking at the same time (1080 or only 720?) on a MFM-HT75WS and (downconverted Y/C) PVM14L1?
Or I can't go this way without an MXO or something from Blackmagik/Aja?

...If I can find somewhere in Europe an MFM-HT75WS since Sony stopped producing it

Hi Alvise:

I use the Aja Kona 3 to do exactly what you propose, my main editing monitor is the MFM and I also view on a downconverted PVM-1342Q. The colors are different and neither is a true broadcast monitor.

As far as a finding the MFMs, good luck, we bought five from www.overstock.com but they are probably sold out now as Sony has long discontinued the MFM-HT75WS.
