Editing for the web

I'm working on a piece I'd like to put on UTube, but was wondering on the brightness/contrast of the piece. Something that looks good on my field monitor and TV usually looks dark on my monitor. If I hope to put it on the web I assume I should adjust the lighting and such in regard to how it looks on my monitor, not my field monitor. I just wanted to check with the experts.

Thx!

just trial and error...export it and bump up the birghtness..if its good remember the setting if its bad...try again.

Fair enough

Fair enough. I knew I was asking a redundant question. I guess I am always hoping there is a method to everything. Maybe there is...... adjust, view, adjust, , view, adjust, fight with computer, adjust, view, adjust, mental breakdown, view, adjust, view, take a break.... yatta yatta. LOL!

Thanks for the advice!

You should try making a flash video around the same size and bitrate as Youtube, and see how it looks in a browser with FLV Player.
