for the first time i'm editing stuff that's been shot on film 24fps and transfered to DV (PAL) and whenever i want to increase the speed to, say 150%, FCP does a terrible job and the footage becomes a little blurry. I'm looking at the timecode at the bottom of the frame and see that it skips frames, it goes like 7,10,13. I wonder if there is a special way of making speed changes in the material that's been shot on film?
