Hey guys. I have began to use the HMC150 camcorder and have an opportunity to pickup another hvx200 very reasonable for b roll footage. I have not tried to use two different format camcorders and mix them together. With ANY second camcorder, even the exact same model, it can prove challenging to make the footage match properly. However, that isn't my question. My question for anyone that knows, how does the AVCHD to P2 converter files turn out for editing in Vegas? Are there any problems of quality loss? I was thinking it might be the best idea to convert the AVCHD files to P2 format and edit the HVX footage in its native format together with the converted AVCHD. Had anyone done this and does it work out well? Is there another option? Before I buy this HVX200, I would like some input from the forum. I normally shoot in 720 / 24PN or 1080P/24. These will be my primary formats to have to join together the two camcorders footage for editing.
