Hey guys. I just ordered a 27" Retina 5K iMac for editing that has a 4.0GHz quad-core i7 with a 4.2GHz turbo boost, 32 GB ram storage, 1TB Flash storage and a 4GB AMD graphics card. I am editing both 4K and HD timelines on PP and also use AE. I am looking for the best option available for an external drive to edit off of, but I do not want to spend over $900 on an editing drive. I just want something that will fly and not bottleneck my computer. I am looking for a Thunderbolt 2 drive, but I am not sure what to get as there are many options available. Any pointers in what to look for?
