Editing Canon XF300 MPEG-2 footage at up to 50Mbps

I am going to be purchasing the Canon XF300 camera within the week. I already own Premier Pro CS6 though I have not yet used it. (I also have Vegas Pro 11.)

Will Premiere handle the XF300 video natively, quickly and without major problems? or is there another recommended workflow for the video from this camera?

It should handle it just fine. I've worked wit the MXF file format from the XF300, C300, etc. and it will work just fine.
