Editing 60p and 24p together in one timeline

I am shooting a monthly docu style tv show for MMA and have 60p footage for the fights(some bits I slow down but mostly keep the fluid live look) and the interview sections and more dramatic bits are shot in 24p. What is my best render output settings to make the 60p stuff and 24p stuff look like the their correct framerates? Would rendering out at 60p make the 24p pieces blur or strobe? Any tips would be awesome.

I just rendered the entire project out at 60p and the 24p looks fine. Should i change the 24p clips properties to 60 before rendering for better results?

No. What you should do is edit on a 60p timeline and disable resample on the 24p clips.

That's if you still want the "live" look of the 60p clips, as you seem to indicate.

If you don't, and you're just using the 60p for slomo, then edit on a 24p timeline, disable resample on the 60p clips, then slow them to 40%.

Big help David! Footage looks fantastic and the 60p looks like 60p and the 24P looks like 24P(once resampling is disabled) Slo mo on the 60p footage looks awesome when put down to 40 percent as well. THANKS!
