edited, but no DVD burner!

i'm editing on a computer that doesn't have a dvd burner. i was thinking of having my final edit be printed to tape. then i'd take that mini dv tape into another pc that does have a burner, put it in a timeline, render, and then put it in a dvd.

my question...is there a better way? besides buying a new dvd burner?
 
You could network it with a computer that has one, or you could just buy one that you'll surely need anyway. I just saw Pioneers for about 40 bucks at SuperMediaStore earlier tonight.
 
yeah, burners have seriously come down in price. My new burner is 16x faster than my original and 30% of the cost
