Edit quicktime format on pc

I'm working on a project and I've stumbled on a problem..

Some friends of mine are doing a music video for a norwegian band. After finishing the shooting the band wanted the seeling to be black.. So my job is to levels-adjust every shot where you can see the seeling.

The video has been edited in Final Cut Pro and I've gotten the video in quicktime format from them. The problem is that I use a pc. So when I load the video into after effects the gamma is off.. Since the pc shows a lower gamma than mac. So when I edit levels adjustments on the pc and view it in quictime later on, the video and the adjustments are not synced..

What can I do about it?

What is the final output/delivery going to be?

You (and they) should be monitoring off to an external monitor for proper color correction anyway.

I can answer that, I'm the guy that color corrected and edited it, along with another guy. The music video is going to be captured back to a DV tape, DVD's and some for web.

When I color corrected the movie I watched an external monitor, and everything looks okay there, I have also burnt it on to a DVD and watched it on a regular TV.

Then I wouldn't worry about the gamma shift... as long as he watches it external too... or uses scopes.
