Hi all,
I did a forum search on this topic and found various info but am still confused on some of the terminology. I have a Panny HMC40 which will shoot 24p footage and am seriously considering obtaining a 5D MKII which also will shoot in 24p. I am interested in editing the footage in a native 24p timeline. I have FCE 4 and, from what I understand, cannot edit in native 24p timeline. I don't understand what is meant by 'pulldown removal'. I guess what I'm asking is, am I going to need to invest in Final Cut Studio in order to be able to edit 24p footage in a 24p timeline?
I am pretty new to all of this.
