I was a bit peeved that Edelkrone came out with a new model of their SliderPlus system less than 5 months after releasing the first version. I wrote a note to Edelkrone and received this back:

Seems like they're doing the right thing here- though the new version of the XL is still $100 cheaper- I guess you just chalk it up to progress. Looking forward to trying the new version- hopefully corrects some of the original's balance issues and locking.

Well all I can say is that the sh*t has hit the fan at Edelkrone. A lot of very unhappy sliderplus v1 customers are making themselves heard anywhere they post a video or information about the V2 slider. I can't blame them, we have had problems with the darn thing since day one, while they were claiming that it could be easily fixed with minor adjustments. Then all of a sudden they release a V2 where they have solved the issue that they were claiming could be easily fixed at home. That has pissed people of seriously.

I contacted them and told them that I feel fooled and that I dont want to pay anything to finally get a working slider. And guess what? I have a V2 slider on my way without any charges at all. So, even if they fail with their first slider, their customersupport is still top notch!
