edelkrone sliderplus V2 question regarding sizes

Hi there,

i have a question to edelkrone sliderplus owners. I have a kessler steath traveler 27' with travel length of 19'

I love it but traveling with it can be a pain when checking it in your bag, it's long and heavy... I think this should be my slider for local shoots.

Here comes the edelkrone sliderplus V2 and I am very interested in it for travel. And I can't decide if I should buy the small version or the medium. Are there people here that have the small version that wished they went with the medium or vice versa?

Thank you for your help

Hi,

I can't answer the question but would be keen to find out if anyone can.

I'm looking to get a slider too. I travel a lot and want something portable. I've seen the edelkrone sliders online and they look really good? Anyone with experience with them?

I saw of a second hand "Philip Bloom Pocket Dolly" that I was considering but not used that one either.

At the moment I've an old Glidetrack but it's too big to travel with.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

that at pocket dolly will smnkt be ideal for traveling. It's like my stealth, it's heavy and long next to the edelkrone

Thanks for the reply.

Did you get the edelkrone slider? How is it?

I was thinking on getting the medium version for travelling.

Thanks

Hi there!

i ordered the medium version and I should receive it Friday. I think it's going to make my travel much better.

Stupia,

I received the edelkrone sliderplus V2 medium today. It is awesome and very smooth. I had the V1 a long time ago and it really wasn't good, but this is miles away better. Let me know if you have questions. I don't think I'll go smaller, I think the medium is the perfect spot.

I also go the case, but it is so small and doesn't allow any plate on the slider, it's cute and compact but really feels overpriced and not very practical. So I am returning the case...

Let me know if you have questions!

Hi,

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm debating between the medium and large slider. Think I may go for the medium though as probably much easier to travel with.

Hope your still getting good results from your slider.

Thanks

I'd recommend going with the large as long as you have a tripod/head that can support the weight of your camera at both ends. I recently went on a trip to Malaysia with a team that got the medium, and the whole time the producer was cursing himself for not getting the large instead. That little bit of extra travel was sorely missed.
